6mix (stylized as 6MIX) is a South-Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Though the group was scheduled to debut in 2015, the group was cancelled, and resulted in the creation of Sixteen. The group was originally made up of six members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Minyoung, Lena, and Cecilia. But shortly after being announced Lena left JYPE to become an actress in the United States, and Cecilia left the group to focus on acting in China[1][2][3][4], under the name Yanfei Song.[1] Sana was later added to the lineup to help make up for the loss of the two members, only for the group's debut to later be cancelled. With the broadcast of SIXTEEN, we saw the remaining members of 6MIX all participate on the show as contestants, with Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, and Jihyo to become future members of Twice, and Minyoung to be eliminated, with her current whereabouts unknown.
