• She is the only member born in 1998.
• She and Tzuyu share the same zodiac sign, Gemini ♊.

  • Her black and silver pair of IEMs has the Christian cross symbol and Bible verses inscribed to it.
  • In an episode of "SELF-ON KODE" while guesting with YATAOME movie co-star Jinyoung, she send a screenshot of her home screen to him and went on to explain how to organize apps according to its category and declutter what's unneeded. If viewed closely, the YouVersion Bible app was sitting beside Instagram in the same folder.
  • She invited her church friends and pastor to the VIP Premiere of You Are the Apple of My Eye.
• Dahyun, Mina and Tzuyu share similarities of having an older brother in the family.
• According to Dahyun, her mother is the same age as JYP.
• She has a sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate. One of her favorites is choco-pie, which Jeongyeon gave her a whole box as a gift.
  • Dahyun also loves sweet potatoes to the point she was willing to line-up the queue for more than 30 minutes just to eat it than waiting to get inside the restaurant.
• Dahyun admitted to disliking spicy food.
• When it comes to drinks, she either orders anything with chocolate in it or Iced Americano.
  • In TIME TO TWICE: TDOONG POCHA, it was revealed she wasn't very fond of consuming alcohol in general and the only member who preferred drinking a non-alcoholic beverage. In Zip Daesung episode 37, Dahyun said that she once drink alcohol in the past during a TWICE team dinner since she lost in a game, but admitted of unable to swallow it. She dislike the smell of the alcoholic beverage, making her nauseous. Dahyun attempted to consume its contents but sputter right away. She eventually passed out in 30 minutes from drinking and has to be carried away.
• Dahyun has poor eyesight and wears -5.5 prescription glasses.
  • Despite this, she has a well-known talent for spotting cameras.
• In "Naraesik" episode 12, Jihyo mentioned that Dahyun is actually a quiet person in contrast to her idol persona. She also wasn't the type to talk about things on her mind.
• While Dahyun was known for being very private about her personal life and usually gives vague answers or anything TWICE and/or ONCE-related in numerous interviews, there are rare occasions she shares some information that's not known in public:
  • She admits being a V.I.P., the fandom name of BIGBANG. She listens to the group's songs and has a playlist of them on her music app.
  • She's also a Uaena, the fandom name of female soloist IU. TWICE members are big fans of her.
• Dahyun is the most flexible member in the group. She can touch her nose and elbow using her tongue.
  • On "Radio Show" episode 692, it was seen that Dahyun could twist her upper and lower body while bending her back, leaving everyone in the room (except the members) shocked.
• She loves playing the piano and did various covers of songs.
• Dahyun was self-taught to play guitar and prepared a cover to surprise ONCE on her birthday. She released the cover "기다리다" (English: Waiting) by 패닉 (Panic) on May 28, 2021.
• She doesn't like horror movies and being alone in the dark as she was scared of it.
• She is afraid of cats and dogs.
  • To overcome one of her fears, Dahyun adopted a pet maltese named Ari.
• She is also afraid of heights. It was first shown in one of the episodes in TWICE TV5 where the group visited the highlands of Switzerland.
• Dahyun takes the longest in the shower because she's singing in the bathroom. She usually finishes up to an hour or two.
• Dahyun's favorite Pokémon is Charmander.
• She likes jumping rope.
• She also loves swimming.
• Dahyun likes to wear tartan and plaid pants. She even has a pyjama set with those patterns shown in TW-LOG: Secret Friend.
• During her free time, she attends art workshops and paints her portraits or photographs (sky, nature, animals etc.) that was posted on her Instagram account.
  • Aside from art, she attends other kinds of workshops and she brings Tzuyu along with her.
• Dahyun first gained attention on the internet when a video of her dancing in church became viral in 2011, earning her the nickname "Eagle Dance Church Sister".
  • On June 29, 2018, the Eagle dance was added to the popular video game Fortnite as a purchasable emote.
• In middle school, she performed a solo in a youth dance festival and was scouted by JYP Entertainment. She passed the audition on July 7, 2012, and officially became a trainee.
• At her first trainee assessment, she shook so much while singing that she failed.
• She was one of the most popular contestants during Sixteen.
• According to Jeongyeon on VLive, Tzuyu, Dahyun and Mina debuted without doing the dance routine choreography test where every trainee needs to pass.
• She is the designated leader of "School Meal Club", composed of the maknae members Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
• Dahyun said that if she was a boy, she would date Sana because she has a lot of aegyo.
• She helped making a dance choreography for "Jelly Jelly".
  • Whenever filming for a dance video or practicing choreography, Dahyun has a habit of rolling up her pants on one leg.
• Dahyun first participated in the writing of the song "Missing U" from their first full-length album, Twicetagram, along with Chaeyoung.
  • She became the first member to write at least two songs without co-lyricists in a single album and the only member who was credited as a solo lyricist in chronological Korean album back to back releases:
    1. "Bring It Back" & "QUEEN" from Eyes wide open (2020) and "Scandal" & "SOS" from Taste of Love (2021)
    2. "Gone" & "When We Were Kids" from Between 1&2 (2022) and "Blame It On Me" & "Crazy Stupid Love" from Ready To Be (2023).
  • She got three credits participating as one of the lyricists, the most in the band, including the group-written song "Celebrate", from the fourth full Japanese album of the same name.
• Dahyun is the first member to debut as an actress.
  • In one of her interviews, she said that it was her dream of being one but kept it to her heart. When the group started doing solo activities, she pondered about her old dream and at some point reached out to the company.^{[citation needed]}
• She is the first member to have a runway debut at New York Fashion Week.
• On July 7, 2018, Dahyun did not throw her first pitch for LG Twins due to the rain, so she did a slip and slide action at the court instead.
• During the 2018 Idol Star Athletic Championships, Dahyun got a hug from Dreamcatcher's Gahyeon and Momoland's Taeha.
• During YES or YES showcase, Dahyun shared her TMI: “I dyed my hair yesterday. That’s TMI. I’m going to see ONCE often, so I tried to look pretty for them. I would do anything they like.”
• Dahyun made a surprise appearance on JTBC News on June 2, 2020 as the weather girl. She delivered local weather news and had an interview with the presenter. She also promoted the title track "MORE & MORE" on the news channel.
• Dahyun went viral when she imitated the picture of a fan edit of her smiling side by side with the Beluga cat meme during the group's 5th anniversary livestream.
  • It also appeared in behind the scenes of Studio Choom's 'Be Original' (now 'Studio Choom Original') for TWICE's "I CAN'T STOP ME".
  • She and ITZY's Yeji imitated their own memes during the shooting of JYP's EDM.
