Eyes wide open is the 2nd full album by the South Korean girl group Twice. The full album was released on October 26, 2020.

Background, Production and Release[]

On September 30, 2020, JYPE confirms that Twice will be making a comeback on October 26, 2020. They reported that they have worked with Tiger Cave Studios for filming their music video; it is the first time that they worked together and the MV production is directed by Lee Gi Baek of who previously worked with many artists like Apink, EXID, GOT7, Suzy and more. The music video is expected to show a different charm and concept for this comeback.

The physical album come in 3 versions named "Story", "Style", and "Retro". The "Story" version expresses the view of the world that continues from 9th mini album; the "Style" version expresses the main style concept of the album; the "Retro" version constitutes photos of retro mood, and package.[1]

Trivia[]

  • As with Mina not attending promotions for Feel Special, Jeongyeon will not be attending TWICE's activities for this album due to mental and physical health. She will be focusing on her health & recovery upon her return.
  • "Say Something" was sang by the members during their 5th anniversary live stream on October 19, 2020, this was before the album was released.[2]
