It seems like you've already gone ahead and made the template, so I just credited myself and changed the HTML tilt. I recommend you continue making changes to make it your own! 🙂
Some ideas (feel free to use these): a dark theme, no border radius, different arrangement, etc.
So it looks like you submitted a few adoption applications, and I wanted to talk to you about them.
One is the BVNDIT Wiki. As you know, this is my wiki and I've been running it for over a year now, and I really don't appreciate you trying to adopt it out under me. I don't edit as much as I should, and I know that. but I am the admin of several different wikis and irl I work full-time, and therefore I don't put the time into running wikis like I should. I apologize for that.
Second, you applied to adopt the Cherry Bullet Wiki.
I've been editing on that wiki for (again, over a year) and you could've notified me that you had plans to adopt it. It's not like the wiki theme is outdated or there's CSS that needs to be changed, everything is up to date with the current comeback. I really don't see why you'd want to adopt it.
Editing on wikis is a joint effort. Its a community effort. You don't need to become admin of a wiki in order to prove yourself. I appreciate you trying to help out and everything, but try to communicate before you do big things like this.
I'm not mad or anything, and I know that you're learning. I've watched you grow as an editor, and I think that's great. But communication is key when running a community-led site.
You undid my edit and I didn't copy and paste and I added the wikipedia Template as well for credit. I summarized it partly and did not try to copy and paste. May you please undo it as I am trying to help this wiki out.
Hello, I've tried to put the new Momo More & More teaser photo to the background but it's either covering the top half of the face or bottom half of the face. Is there a way (without making it smaller) to make it able to see her face? I've tried everything but nothing works.
I want to know if the riddle is going to stay. If there is the correct way to ask the admin, be sure to let me know, I'm a manual-sort-of-a-guy. A lot of love for Twice, this wiki, and the lovely admin people, including you, Amy. So, is the riddle okay? Be sure to let me know. I'll be waiting for half-an-hour for your reply. But no offense, and no rushing intended.
According to our site policy, information that's not related to Twice can be deleted if we feel it doesn't belong on the wiki. Our users come to this website looking for information about Twice and only Twice (information about members, concept photos, lyrics, albums, sales, etc). It's also important to understand that a large part of our demographic are minors and therefore we have strict rules about sharing personal information. You are more than welcome to link to a personal instagram or facebook account on your profile, but we ask that photos of yourself, where you live, and sensitive personal information is kept to a minimum. I hope you can understand.
Also I work full-time, and therefore I couldn't reply immediately (I am currently writing this on my lunch break). I apologize.
So again, if its not remotely related to Twice (or not appropriate for young audiences) then our admin team may delete it.
Oh my god, you must be having one sort of a lunch break. It's a lunch break day. It's all right, to see such a sincere and heartful answer from you, absolutely made me very very content, and glad. I will be very careful about my personal photos, and will certainly not upload anything that's me from hereonafter(； ･`д･´)
Something remotely related to twice, is a very realistic goal that I will pursue. I, am not employed, but I do have my chores to do. I will keep on updating Twice content on my blog, at a slow but solid pace.
Some weeks ago, you acknowledged me about my posts not containing Twice content, and I understand that some of my content are irrelevant personal information.
Today, I realized that some of the photos that I've uploaded in the past had been deleted by another user. I would like to ask the admin: whether or not I am allowed to re-upload the deleted photos and place them where they used to be.
Let me know if there is a problem with any of the posts I've made.
We ask that all photos uploaded to the wiki are related to Twice. We also have rules surrounding how the photos are uploaded, for example, if it's a photo from a fansign, what was the date? What member is the photo of? Who took the photo? Etc. Etc. We have a team of people on this wiki who are in charge of uploading and correctly categorizing photos that are uploaded (from concept photos to SNS photos, to pictorials to broadcast photos), and therefore if there's a photo they believe is out of place or doesn't belong, they have the right to delete it.
It's also important to note that all photos should be releated to Twice. (This goes for all blog posts, discussion posts, and comments as well). If you wish to upload content that's not related to Twice, then we ask you do so elsewhere.
We get thousands of visitors daily and they are here for Twice and only Twice content. You are more than welcome to link to a personal instagram or facebook account (many users do) but we ask that the information on this wiki is on-topic and related to Twice. So to answer your question: if you wish to upload the photos again you may, but they will most likely be taken down for not following our site policy and not pertaining to the articles in which they are posted.
I hope you can understand.
Oh my god! Thank you, for your very kind and detailed reply. I understand fully, to the extent that I am totally not going to upload anything me, in the coming future, at least on this wiki. Do feel at ease, relieved, because I am going to follow the wiki policies, for sure, totally, at least from now on.
So, I just added some code to Twice Momo's Gallery so you now have tabs for Instagram posts, so you can look at posts from 2017, 2018 and 2019 separately. Although everything looks fine I'm not 100% sure I did it correctly, can you check and let me know if I did it correctly or if I made a mistake? If I know I did it correctly I'll do the same for the Galleries of the other members.
I just wanted to apologize about the way I was editing on the BlackPink wikia, I was just trying to help input information onto the wikia. I understand that I didn't source the content I inputed, I thought I could put sources it in the edit summary, since I didn't know how to source on wikia, I also thought that I could transfer the genre information from wikipedia, but I guess that sources are still needed.
You can block me here if you want to, I just wanted to apologize for breaking the rules there and/or for coming across as a nuicance. I just wanted to let you know that I learned my lesson, and I'll take my ban like I should.
First off, thank you for apologizing. We get hundreds of users who end up being banned due to their actions, and you're the first user I've met who's actually apologized. For that reason, I'm lifting your ban. You owned up to your actions and deserve a second chance. Also, the main reason why I banned you was for the edits on the title track pages, where you didn't cite your sources. I ended up having to undo all of your edits because of this (The only edit I kept was on the edit on the Kill This Love page. You wrote a comprehensive paragraph surrounding Blackpink's controversy and you cited your sources in the edit summary without plagarizing. Bravo.) It's totally fine to cite your sources in the edit summary, especially if you're editing things like infoboxes and such (citing in those is SUCH a pain :P ). Then I can easily fact-check. The main problem on your part was where you didn't cite whatsoever when switching the genres of songs. It may not seem like a big deal to do it once, but after several times it kinda adds up. But again, thank you so much for the apology, and I totally understand. I hope you continue editing on the BlackPink wiki, and continue to follow our wiki policies.
