The Feels is the first full English digital single by TWICE. The digital single and music video were released on October 1, 2021. It is the 15th track of their third Korean full-length album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3".
The single was first teased on August 2, 2021, with an SNS post titled Sudden Letter? Oh! you got my attention, an image of an envelope coming through the door. The stamp on the envelope hinted the letter is from TWICE.
On August 4, 2021, the 2nd SNS post titled Uh, I'm so curious and the hashtag #GetTheFeelsWithTWICE. The teaser also showed a person holding the letter from TWICE, who couldn't wait to open the letter.
The 3rd SNS post was posted on August 6th, it showed the person had opened the letter and announced the name of the English single, "The Feels" along with the caption Where are we going tonight?.
On August 23, 2021, JYP Entertainment Official YouTube channel released an 11 seconds video titled "TWICE "The Feels" Drop Spoiler" and also announced that it will be released on October 1, 2021.
On September 22, 2021, it was revealed that Twice will be performing "The Feels" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 1, 2021. The next day they also announced that Twice will perform on Good Morning America on October 6, 2021. This is the first time where Twice will be fully focusing their promotions in America.
On October 29, 2021, JYP Entertainment released the tracklist of their 3rd full album Formula of Love:O+T=<3 and this track is included as the 15th track of the album, however it is only available on the digital version of the album.
Live performances and promotion[]
The first concept photo for "The Feels" was uploaded on September 3, 2021. Due to her panic and anxiety disorder, Jeongyeon will not be able to join the group in their promotion of "The Feels". The remaining members of Twice appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a performance of "The Feels" on October 1, the single's release date. On October 6, they performed on GMA3: What You Need To Know.
